My love for architecture has roots in my childhood spent at jobsites with my Dad. Even before I could swing a hammer, I tagged along as my Dad worked long hours doing everything from carpentry to plumbing to landscaping. Always one with a big imagination, I would picture myself in these often beautiful homes, playing on a spacious porch, or reading in a cozy nook. Without knowing what "architecture" meant, my appreciation grew for all the ways in which our environments influence our lives.
Growing up around power tools, I soon learned the joy of building. Balanced with creative and critical thinking, I found myself inevitably drawn to architecture. Throughout my training, I have always appreciated architecture as a creative but structured discipline. As I matured as an architect, I developed a passion for the human experience in architecture, prioritizing the people we design for.
There is little that compares to the satisfaction of witnessing a building come to life, from concept to reality. I enjoy the process of architecture beginning to end and have always sought to round out my knowledge base and skillsets. I bring it all to the table, and I invest myself personally with any project.
